Hi Folx,

 

FYI—January Wikipedia Day planning seems to be going well.

 

We have been promoting through the traditional Wikipedia MeetUp page, a FB event, and an EventBrite event.  Richard Knipel has been helping behind the scenes with getting the word out as well.

 

Here is what we have so far for RSVPs (and Paul K I am only counting you once, OK, lol):

 

Wikipedia MeetUp: 7 definites, 3 maybes

 

FB event: 2 going, 18 interested

 

EventBrite Event: 17 going (we think—someone made 10 RSVPs, not sure if this is a typo or not)

 

Still—looks like we will have @ 20-30 people in attendance!

Thank you to Richard for helping spread the word!  I look forward to cake, coffee, and conversation with everyone!  I will bring my Wikipedia swag bag—I have lots of buttons and stickers to share.
