Hi all!
I'd also love to help with this remotely but I'll also be gone for most of
March, unfortunately. I have been working on hosting one in April, though,
if any of you are interested in joining? The Boulder History Museum wants
to host a series of edit-a-thons starting in April to identify and
recognize women and people of color from Boulder's history who need pages.
We're still at the early stages of planning that, but we identified April
19 as a possible date for the first one. The museum has an awesome intern
who's identified a long list of people who were incredibly influential in
this city's history and don't have pages yet, so we have a great list to
start with.
If you're interested in joining, let me know! I'll keep you in the loop on
how that shapes up.
Thanks so much! I am constantly inspired by all your enthusiasm and
dedication. Cheers to changing the world one page at a time! :)

Thanks, Gaurav - good idea! I'd love to see this
sort of thing happen
again and lend whatever support I can.
Any ideas for a theme?

Hullo people who helped organize the Outdoor
Women of Wikipedia
editathon last year!
Women's History Month (March) is getting close, and it'd be great to
organize a meetup to coincide with it this year as well! It's
the fifth year of Art+Feminism [1], and the
"Women You Have Never Met"
editing contest [2] just sent Wikimedia-US-CO
an invitation
on our talk page [3]. I'm CC-ing this e-mail
to the Wikimedia-US-CO
mailing list as well to pick up as many interested parties
as
possible.
I won't be in Boulder in March, so there isn't much I can do in person,
but I'm happy to help remotely if I can!

A planning meeting tomorrow March 21 at 5:30 at Sanitas Brewery,
for the "Outdoor Women of Wikipedia" editathon event next Sunday,

sounds perfect to me, and it sounds like we have at least 4 who
can make
it.
Cheers,
