Or something like that.

I can volunteer to judge them, but I wouldn’t want to be the ONLY judge, so if nobody else volunteers to judge, we might end up randomly choosing an entry after all. But I like the idea of candidates having to set out why they’d like to go, what they’ll do in Berlin and how that will benefit WM-US-CO.

We could run that at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedians_of_Colorado_User_Group — otherwise, once all the applicants are in, we could just pick one at random at https://www.randomresult.com/ticket.php. Let me know what you think!

Of the best-suited to represent Colorado Wikimedians, it may very well indeed be the most fierce of competitions between Neal and Gaurav, as Neal has obviously made significant contributions to Wikipedia's infrastructure while Gaurav has obviously made significant contributions to Wikipedia's content. I vote to send them both disguised as one person?

If you are curious as to why my response is all the way down here, it's because I encountered this very interesting SuperUser answer recently.
