Dear Ted,

Thank you for endorsing the Strategic Direction! Your organization was one among more than 80 other organized groups from our movement who have shown their support and commitment to participate in the next steps. I am excited to see so many entities of the movement unite around service and equity and look forward to filling this direction with life together with you.

After phase 1, we all needed a rest, and so we are still in the early stages of designing the scope and the process for phase 2.[1] We will kick-off the preparations and planning in the next year, which allows us to gather energy for the important conversations that lay ahead of us.

One of the milestones for phase 2 will be Wikimedia Conference in Berlin (20-22 April 2018), again with a dedicated track for movement strategy. Please note that registration for eligible participants has already started, and the participants’ input will be used to create the event’s program.[2]

A huge thank you for your support and engagement throughout the process. It’s been quite a ride and I look forward to an exciting year 2018.

All the best,
Nicole
