This year and for the first time our group and all the other user groups will be able to participate in the ASBS Affiliate-Selected Board Seat election (previously only chapters and thematic organisations were allowed to participate).

This is an excellent opportunity for us to endorse and vote for someone who can represent us in the board of trustee.

As a co-founder who signed the user group agreement with the foundation, I have been designated to vote on behalf of our group for this election but my vote should be the reflection of what you, members of the WM TN UG would like to support after reaching an internal consensus.

I would like to ask you kindly to check the list of the candidates and reply to this email by sharing the name of the best candidate (just one) that we should support and endorse.

The official vote will take place between the 8th and the 31st of May. I suggest to take one week to review the list of candidates and set the 12th of May midnight (Tunisian time) as a deadline to receive your emails.

NB: Although there are two open seats but in order to maximise the chance of our candidate, I suggest to vote for only one person.

PS: just to mention that Douglas Scott tried to contact our group in order to ask for support and endorsement (c.f.our mailing list emails).
