Hi Houcem,
Thank you for the important remark. But actually as indicated in the link, that was a draft for a grant we didn't apply for eventually.
Also, unfortunately, with the limited references we managed to find and share with the volunteers, we didn't find anything about some of the monuments in the first to-do-list we started with. That's why we replaced some monuments with others (such as the Borjs, Foundouk Haddadine, Kasbah, etc). Also, many of the mausoleums we thought we will write about were actually part of other mosques in the list and vice versa.
Finally, the number 67 is for articles in french. Every french article has at least its arabic and english version (excpet some of the borjs we didn't finish yet). Some have even italian or german articles.
I believe that MedinaPedia Sfax reached its first goal which is writing about most of the monuments of the medina (71 monuments) in the basic languages (arabic, english and french).
Our next goal for now is installing QRpedia plaques for some of them, but we didn't figure out how to find money for this yet.
I apologize for not sharing a report so far but this is because we are finalizing some last articles and uploading more of the volunteers photos. Unfortunately and unlike Medinapedia Tunis, volunteers are more into writing than photography. We didn't reach our goal of 2000 photos.
I am open for a meeting with anyone, but I don't really see how this can help for now. Maybe to discuss the OSM grant or funds for the plaques?
Thanks for the follow-up Houcem and everyone. This is really appreciated.
Have a nice week.
Houssem
