Hello Sami,

Hope you are doing really well.

I would like to invite you to our Visible WikiWomen Challenge in March. I have recently joined the team of "Whose Knowledge?". Whose Knowledge will launched the #VisibleWikiWomen Challenge last week. As well, Mariana will coordinate this campaign with us.

Here is a link to campaign’s information: Here

And link to our Meta page: Here

The idea of the campaign is to add more images of women on Wikipedia during March through intensive work. Our goal is to increase the relevant women visibility on Wikipedia and the internet because their image is almost invisible. That is why we are inviting feminists, women's organizations, Wikipedia editors and editors, user groups, chapters and people from all over the world to collaborate with this effort.

At this moment, we are looking for the best way to encourage different people, groups, and institutions to organize or attend local events in their communities.  These events will help people to take, upload, or publish their photos under Creative Commons license.

Within the framework of this campaign, Wikimedia Tunisia's collaboration seems fundamental to us. So, we would like to hear your ideas about the best way to collaborate with each other during March. For example, we can support and guide those who organize edit-athons and other local events, help developing lists of the most relevant articles that need to be illustrated, and think about actions to be carried out online, etc.

Also, if within your country you would like to connect us with GLAM projects or organizations that work on this scope.

Let us know what do you think. Let's do it!

Greetings from Cairo

May
