Le domaine de coopération le plus intéressant avec le chapter suédois d'après moi c'est de faire lancer le bot de Lsjbot (géré par un suédois) dans le wiki arabe. À lui seul, il a créé plus de 8% de tous les articles dans toutes les langues. Au minimum, 1 milion d'articles pourraient être créés en quelques semaines chez nous. Avoir la base de données et commencer à traduire les termes y compris pour les villes et villages suédois durant un workshop de traduction (dans une faculté de langue par exemple?) faciliteront cela. Moi je peux me charger d'avoir l'accord de wiki AR pour le lancer (c'est pas un précédent, plusieurs articles sont créés de cette manière là bas)

Hi all,

I met Mr Jan Ainali today in the matchmaking event organized by the swedish institute and we discussed many ideas of partnership and collaboration. Actually, the main goal of this event was to create ideas for projects between tunisian and swedish NGOs, and the make a proposal to get grants from the institute to implement these ideas.

So know, we are discussing the idea of making a sort of collaboration (a competition, a project...) in which swedish and tunisian youth (students, high school students, women, etc) in order to increase the number of swedish related articles in arabic, and tunisian related articles in swedish.

Also, we discussed the idea of brining some interested members from their chapter to join the team of MedinaPedia Sfax to translate what our members write into swedish. (Maybe eventually some of them can come to Tunisia and become friends with our members here).

Also, their chapter and the institute are really interested in working on the women issue (recrut and train more women) and the question of democracy and freedom of expression. He talked about working with the parliaments and politic parties and I talked to him about Sami's experience with the deputes but I gave him Sami's contacts for further informations as I am not well informed about the details of the activities. (P.S: the swedish institute is financing projects about these themes and that's why he was suggesting such topics).

I told him if we can set a meeting with the other User group members but unfortunately he's leaving this Thursday, and his schedule is really tight. But I sent him another mail to ask him again if he can.

I have been in touch with Habib who met Wikimedia SE during the Diversity Conf and he explained to me that this visit is part of a large invitation initiated by the Embassy of Sweden to several components of the Civil Society in Sweden among them Wikimedia SE.

This invitation aims to invite the SE Civil Society to Tunisia in order to get in touch with the Tn Civil Society and find how provide help and build partnership.

With Wikimedia SE, Habib suggested on twitter that Jan Ainali visit the Diocesan Library, meet Zeineb, see what she's doing and how eventually help her.

I think we can discuss also with Jan the following ideas:

-ask Wikimedia SE to promote content about Tunisia on the Swedish Wikipedia: e.g. translate articles related to Medinapedia and we can do the same in arabic/frensh for them

-ask them to help us to set in place Wikimedians in residence

-setup a meetup with him and have an idea about what they are doing in Wikimedia SE (strategy, projects ...)

I discussed with a Swedish Wikipedian (Jan Ainali) about his work in Wikipedia with the Swedish chapter, and the organization of the Diversity conference.
