First, Yamen please publish it and stop the rumors.
Second, I have to add that such Idea could affect the focus of local groups in their
tasks. I suggest also here for WM Tn UG to focus on improving the Tn UG status and quality
of projects on Wikipedia.
Finally, such an idea could be discussed on WikiArabia as a well done Topic (approved by
all members of the WM Tn UG) and not as a project or by emailing other arab user groups.

Dear members of the WM Tn UG,
Hope you are alldoing well !
Myself and Habib have heard from some friends in the Arabic region that there are some
rumors that our group is behind the efforts to create an Arabic User Group and a Tunisian
active Wikimedian, although no more member of our group, is supporting that on behalf of
the group.
In order to stop spreading these rumors, we suggest to publish the following statement to
our fellow wikimedians in the Arabic region:

بلاغ الى الوكيبيديين العرب،
توضيح لموقف مجموعة مستخدمي ويكيميديا تونس حولتكوين المجموعة العربية:
* ان مجموعة مستخدمي ويكيميديا تونس ليس لهااي دخل لا من قريب او من بعيد في محاولة البعض
الوكيبيديين تكوين مجموعة عربية لمستخدميويكيميديا.
* ان العديد من افراد المجموعة التونسية،ومن بينهم منسقا المجموعةحبيب مهني و يامن بوسريح،
يعارضون هاته الفكرة لما فيه من إمكانية تشتيت عمل المجموعات المحليةوامكانية التصادم معها.
*المستخدم منير التوزري، لم يعد ينتمي الىالمجموعة التونسية ولم يعد يمثلها وكل مجهوداته في
انشاء المجموعة العربية هي مجهوداتشخصية ولا تلزم المجموعة التونسية في اي شيء.
Statement to Arabic Wikimedians:
Position of the WM Tn UG from the Arabic User Group:
*The WM Tn UG is not involved in any way in the efforts done so far to create the Arabic
User Group,
*Many members of the WM Tn UG including the co-founders Habib Mhenni and Yamen Bousrih are
against the creation of this user group as it may create problems and disturb the
activities of the national user groups,
*the Wikimedian Mounir Touzri is no longer member of the WM Tn UG and his efforts to
create the new group should be considered as personal efforts and are not related to the
WM Tn UG.
