OK, I think after that flurry of emails it's settled: please join me for a casual lunch *tomorrow*, Saturday, at the Internet Archive offices in the Presidio at 12 noon.
Directions etc: http://www.archive.org/about/contact.php
We will hopefully be joined by a film crew from the Netherlands who are working on a documentary about Wikipedia and who are interested in talking to Wikipedians (this is not a sure thing anymore -- unfortunately the cameraman had to unexpectedly return home so they are not sure if they will be able to film or not. I will know more by tonight and will send updates).
We will either order in, or go out for sandwiches. People from the IA will be on hand to talk about their projects as well.
Please send me any questions, and if you think you'll be able to make it so I know about lunch: phoebe.ayers@gmail.com. If there's a very small group, we might go for lunch afterwards at a restaurant instead. Also please let know off-list if you are only interested in coming if the film crew is going to be there.
Next meetup: in March, and with more notice!
best, phoebe
A quick note -- there will be a (slightly smaller) camera crew there tomorrow visiting. They just want to get a couple of quick interviews and talk to some Wikipedians. Otherwise, I think we'll have a normal meetup, and maybe get sandwiches from a local deli or else go out somewhere afterwards.
As far as the weather... can't do much about that, I'm afraid. -- phoebe

It'd be cool if the next meeting were somehwhere more centrally located. The Presidio is not well serviced by public transit.
I'm partial to anywhere near by BART. The meetup in the ferry building was a good location, if a little busy.
Just my 2 cents.

The Ferry Building on Saturdays is an awful location -- too many people, huge bathroom lines, nowhere to sit. Sundays are great, though.
For lunch there's a bunch of different places -- fish sandwiches can be had for $8-$10, Japanese fusion (Delica RF-1) food for $8-$15 and then there's Boulette's Larder, which is in the $15-$30 range and offers French, Southern and Hindi inspired plates. There's plenty of little snack places -- chocolates, coffee, little pastries -- and there's restaurants I haven't mentioned, all of them bracketed by the 3 I mentioned earlier.
