Heya folks - quick update! Voting is still wide open and will be through the end of this week. Please don't be shy about sharing your RSVP with the rest of us. NO FOOD ALLOWED!!! Well... "snacks" as in cookies and such are ok, but please DO NOT BRING YOUR LUNCH to the meeting. There are plenty of places about to eat it before you arrive. This is apparently a fairly newly opened meeting room and the branch is requesting NO FOOD. Might try to get a room in the main branch where we can brown bag it for the cheap fee. Of course, if anyone has any other location suggestions for future meetings please don't be shy! Remember to keep in mind that many of us rely on public transportation. I attended one meet up, and I came away somewhat puzzled. What was it for? We sat around and had an unfocused conversation, and then everyone retired to a bar/restaurant, and I left for BART. So, could we at least talk about what the purpose is?
