Open Access panel discussion at WMF
Hi all,
Please join me, along with several panelists from Wikipedia and from the
Open Access movement, for a discussion next Wednesday evening at the
Wikimedia Foundation offices.
In short: The Open Access movement, which questions the legitimacy of
academic journals restricting access to their contents, is largely aligned
with Wikipedia. But sometimes, their goals and tactics come into conflict.
Please note, while this is a free event, advance registration is
mandatory. Further info and registration link here:

We hope to see you next week!
