Hi Lianna,

I wrote a long note mentioning my history of interaction with the encyclopedia, and love for the Wiki in general, and asked to be added to the invite list for the openhouse at the new Presidio offices on Dec 18. Unfortunately, one little button pushed, and the note went to my sister instead of you. As I'm working, and in the field today, my concern is that the forward will end up in your spam folder.

Of course, the keyboard on my phone seems only to have partial function as I disabled the apps ability to access my emails, texts, etc....And, as a result, it will not "learn" how I type our swipe any longer. I mention this as this goes to another reason I love the Wiki....this crowd-sourced mega info source plays no games I can see, and I love this simple honesty, and the integrity behind such decisions.

So, IF you cannot see the earlier email I forwarded, after discovering my error, please include me in your list of invites, IF you stroll have room.

Regards, Bruce Thompson

Hi Bay Area community!

The Wiki Education Foundation is having a holiday open house on Thursday, December 18. We'll provide hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and tours of our new office in the Presidio. In the spirit of Wikilove, we'd like to extend the invitation to the Bay Area editing community too. If you're interested in joining us, please let me know offlist so I can add you to the invitation and you can get the full details.

Hope to see you on the 18th!
LiAnna
