Hi Atul,

I'm not sure if I replied to your email, I thought I did, but I don't see my reply anywhere. Maybe it got lost in the proton.me versus my personal account

Anyways, you're more than welcome to give a 3 minute talk at the open mic, we'll be having open signups for that the night of the event.

However, if you have a more developed idea and would like to give a more substantial talk (5-10 minutes, I know that's perhaps a questionable use of the word "substantial"), I want to personally invite you to do so! Just send us your slides (if you plan on having any) before around 5 PM Friday. Then just make yourself known to myself or any of the volunteers and we'll get you on stage when the time comes.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Cheers,
-Travis

Subject: Request for a short talk slot on Friday at WikiGameJam SF
To: bayareawikipedians@proton.me <bayareawikipedians@proton.me>

Hi Jennifer, CJ, Travis, and team,

My name is Atul Salgaonkar, based in San Jose and now semi-retired. I have been an infrequent Wikipedia editor and an avid game enthusiast/tester for many years.

I’m registered for WikiGameJam SF and would love to give a very short talk (3 to 5 min) on Friday evening to share a game concept I’ve developed. It is a multilingual, clue-driven Wikipedia-inspired game concept that could be of interest to attendees. I would especially appreciate being considered for the 7:00 PM ("Open Mic") slot, since I will be returning to San Jose that evening. Will you please let me know if this is possible?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you and with best regards,

Atul Salgaonkar
