I'm currently taking a Python class, and one of my classmates expressed
interest in exactly that kind of project.
However, looking at the link it says to submit a resume before March
15th.

Since you are mailing us on March 16th should we assume the deadline has
been changed?

       As some of you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation received a
grant
from the Stanton Foundation to improve the usability of Wikipedia for
new contributors. I'm the tech lead for that project, and we have an
open Software Developer position. We're looking for PHP developers,
preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area and with prior MediaWiki
