Well, good luck with this meetup. I will try to attend in hopes that it will reignite my activity (or lack thereof) on Wikipedia.

Any of those dates would be fine for me … I've also created [[Wikipedia:Meetup/San Francisco 6]], in the hope of allowing more people to participate.

I'm also willing to contribute towards the coffee & pastries fee.

Subject: [Wikimedia-SF] Tentative June 28th SF Wiki Meetup

Heya folks -

Just reaching out to see if there is any interest in setting up a meeting for June at the Glen Park Branch Library.  At this moment, the room is available for the following saturdays:  June 21st and the 28th and July 12th.  The room fits about 50 people.  I'm assuming its a standard setup of a few long tables and chairs all around.  I was thinking around 1pm start to around 4 pm finish?

Brion's up for giving a preview of his Wikimania presentation on the tech status of things.

The room is free so long as we don't need any special equipment or are planning a banquet.  I'm still trying to get a hold of the local branch to see if its ok to bring a brown bag lunch without the $100 fee for set/cleanup, if they say we have to at least pay the $25 fee  (Coffee and Pasteries) then I'll pay that and accept any voluntary donations for reimbursement to share the cost.

Please reply back to the group if you're interested in this location and a particular date.

We'll also look to plan a followup after Mania meeting in early August if there is interest.

Thanks!

*Marti
