I would love to attend the event to celebrate the new offices and the Holidays!

I began editing articles in late 2006, primarily due to the fact that many articles featuring points of interest, geographic locales, and historic sites in the Northern Coastal Counties of California were underdeveloped, or, occasionally, had incorrect, or POV issues.

Before I became a Gerontologist, I was first a classically trained Americanist Historian, but had always focused on the Redwood Empire Region of California, the area my family has called home since the 1850's.

It has been a pleasure to watch the Wiki grow in both scope and use over the years, and I love the results of the hard work by editors.

Though work and life had made me busier offline in the recent period, I still watch over 400 articles, and occasionally edit glaring "issues."

I have a client event in SF on the 18th, and would love to drop by the party at the Presidio offices.

Please let me know if there is room, and if there are any special access requirements to get in.

Happy Holidays to the great staff of The Wiki!

Regards, Bruce

Hi Bay Area community!

The Wiki Education Foundation is having a holiday open house on Thursday, December 18. We'll provide hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and tours of our new office in the Presidio. In the spirit of Wikilove, we'd like to extend the invitation to the Bay Area editing community too. If you're interested in joining us, please let me know offlist so I can add you to the invitation and you can get the full details.

Hope to see you on the 18th!
LiAnna
