Hi! I'll be working with the Serpent Twins in the afternoon from 2:30 - close on both Saturday and Sunday this year (come by and see us!) but can help set up and will come by for an hour on Saturday. If you are really pressed for a vehicle to put stuff into on Sunday I might be able to help with that but I also have to help pack up the Twins, so I might not be your best option. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Subject: [Wikimedia-SF] Volunteer for Maker Faire booth - May 17 & 18

Hello all,

We have a booth at Maker Faire on May 17th and 18th, in San Mateo, and we are urgently looking for your help!  We are looking for volunteers who can staff the booth and talk about Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects with the show attendees. Maker Faire is a lot of fun, and people usually have lots of questions about Wikipedia. Help us demonstrate how Wikipedia works!

We are looking particularly for people who can help with:

* setup on Friday evening
* staff for Saturday
* staff and coordinator for Sunday -- the coordinator will help make sure that everything is supervised on Sunday, and take down the booth at the end of the day
* someone with a car to transport material on Sunday

Please email me if you can join! Of course, all levels of experience with Wikipedia are welcome. We have some free tickets available for volunteers, so please email me for more information. More details are available on our Wikipedia meet-up page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/San_Francisco/Maker_Faire_2014
