Please join us this Sunday for an edit-a-thon at the Wikimedia Foundation office in support of the Zone 9 bloggers. 

Zone 9 is a group of bloggers and journalists based in Ethiopia who started a blog in 2012 in efforts to facilitate civic engagement and open discussion about Ethiopia. In April of this year, 6 members of the collective were arrested in Addis Ababa and now face terrorism charges for their work. Endalkachew Chala, one of the co-founders of Zone 9 who has been a fellow with EFF for this summer, is helping to organize this edit-a-thon and will be joining us on Sunday. 

Please come to help us to improve articles about Ethiopia, freedom of the press, the Ethiopian constitution, digital journalism, the bloggers themselves, and more!
