Please excuse me for this slightly late reminder (though a reminder nonetheless): the first-ever Oakland Wiki History Edit-a-thon is this Sunday! This will be a fascinating way to meet other people with an interest in local history, and coming from the point of view of a Wikipedian a great opportunity to include rare images on Commons and well-researched local history content on Wikipedia.
