Hi all!
Thank you for joining us last week. A few links if you want to catch up:
- https://projo.toolforge.org/ is a great new tool to help prioritize patrolling tasks - but also to find pages that need some love in your domain of interest;
- A number of us attended [Wiki Conference North America](https://wikiconference.org/wiki/2026/Main_Page) in Edmonton. Take a look at the schedule for an overview of movement news and projects.
Join us tomorrow for an our inaugural open knowledge meetup in Palo Alto, from 6 to 8pm! Bringing together Open Street Map, Bay Area Wikimedians, and Wikimedia Enterprise. Come learn about what we're working on - and to share your own favorite open project!
Details and RSVP:

See you tomorrow!

Hi John!
Apologies that we didn't hear you knock right away - and glad you joined us! :)
We just got a wireless bell to make it easier to hear people at the door during the talks. It will be there next Wikisalon!
Best wishes,
Émeline

This will be a joint meetup with Open Street Map, and a demo by the Wikimedia Enterprise team on how to map Wikipedia pages. There's also a [Luma sign-up page](https://luma.com/6lrpvkqj) if that makes it easier to invite folks.

Hi all!
Thank you for joining our August Wikisalon! For those who couldn't make it, you can always find our slides and news [at this link.](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1JpBX6XDR-bD4ymvcqwzp4PLKy_jY…
Our next salon is September 15 at 6.30pm: [Wiki registration](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event:Bay_Area_WikiSalon_Septem… ; [Luma registration](https://luma.com/m7cru7ib).
It's going to be a good one! We will have four activities (starting at 7.20 after dinner and a bit of housekeeping):
- A workshop for newcomers
- A workshop on basics of studio photography - especially good for anyone considering contributing to wikiportraits
- We're teaming with [OpenStreetMap](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap) ! Join their bimonthly meetup and talk all things maps.
- Wiki Tech and AI: a meetup for technical editors of wiki, public-interest AI and other open source software projects
To be confirmed: depending on the availability of the organizer, we will also offer an introduction to patrolling for intermediate editors.
As always: bring your friends! The more the merrier. RSVPs help tremendously with logistics!
See you there,
Émeline
