Good day Frakhad,
Just checking to see if you are still up for this? Much as the physical summit was
cancelled, we are still interested in what you have to say...
Please let us know if this is still possible,
We look forward to hearing from you soon...
Kind regards
Alice

Dear Farkhad,
In case you missed our previous email, we are interested in featuring your input as part
of the Wikimedia Summit Faces (refer to thread below).
As previously mentioned, we would like to create some engagement via social media
channels showcasing individual participants of the Wikimedia Summit on twitter and maybe
Instagram– we call that #wmsummitfaces (see e.g.
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23wmsummitfaces).
For this purpose, we would like to ask you the following:
Each of the 13 recommendations consists of so-called “expected outcomes”
(
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Recomme…),
e.g. “Establish a Movement Charter to create a common understanding of our shared
principles, values, and governance behaviors.” of the recommendation “Ensure Equity in
Decision-Making” . We would like to know from you the following:
*
How well would the “expected outcome address the needs of your local or regional context?
(includes both online and affiliate work)?
*
OR What challenges do you foresee the “expected outcome” posing for your local or
regional context (includes both online and affiliate work)?
It would be great if you could answer one of these two questions focusing on one the
expected outcomes mentioned in the recommendations.
Alternatively, what do you think about submitting a 10 to 15 seconds video stating your
answer? Would that be something you would consider?
Thank you in advance,
Alice

Dear Farkhad,
The Wikimedia Summit this year will focus on understanding the recommendations,
prioritizing and sequencing them, as well as discuss who should implement which part of
the recommendations.
As in previous years, we would like to create some engagement via social media channels
like Twitter, showcasing individual participants of the Wikimedia Summit – we call that
#wmsummitfaces (see e.g.
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23wmsummitfaces). Besides
publishing the photos on Twitter, we would like to test the series on a dedicated
Instagram account as well – maybe with short videos.

Together with your answer (your quote) we would like to use this photo of you: Would that
be okay for you?
Alternatively, what do you think about submitting a 10 - 15 seconds video stating your
answer? Would that be something you would like?
Thank you in advance,
