Hi everyone,

It was great meeting and seeing so many of you in Hong Kong. We hope you made it home safely and had a great and inspiring time at Wikimania, we know we did. We can't wait to have more concrete events and activities at Wikimania 2014, and of course, we will keep you posted on opportunities.

I wanted to send a brief reminder about Wikimetrics. We would love your feedback about it. You can find the training module here:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Meta:Training/Wiki_Metrics

Jaime worked hard to create this great module, and it will show you the easy basics on how to get started. Then you can be free to play and engage with it.

Please post your feedback on the talk page here:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Program_Evaluation_and_Design/Resources/Wikimetrics

And, if you find a bug, you can post it on Bugzilla[1] and if you don't want to worry about Bugzilla, just email me. All feedback will be shared with WMF analytics.

This is a SOFT LAUNCH. That means there will be bugs, issues, and it's not perfect. But, we can't wait for you to play with it. Please experiment and make sure, if you do intend on using Wikimetrics to evaluate an upcoming event you have, you use the permission forms for your event participants.[2]

Also, please share Google Hangout ideas with us. We're going to have our next Google Hangout at the beginning of September, and IRC meeting around the same time (details soon) so please share ideas here:

I'm looking to have program leaders like yourselves share successes, challenges and stories about PE&D for the WMF blog. Please contact me - I'd love to hear from you.

In Wikilove,

-Sarah
