Wikimedia Norge are now launching the
Uralic language contest 2019 on Meta. 2019 is UNESCO's International Year of Indigenous Languages (IYIL), and we have been recognized as a
Civil Society Partner for this year. This contest is one of several events we are planning to organize in 2019 in conjunction with IYIL. The contest is aimed at increasing content about indigenous Uralic languages and the people who speak them, and everyone is welcome to join it.
I would love your help in spreading the message about this contest to your local communities, and with
translating the contest pages into your languages.
