We’re excited to announce that the Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group is organizing a technical workshop series from June to December 2025 under the Small Wiki Toolkits initiative. These workshops aim to build the technical skills of volunteers from smaller Wikimedia projects, focusing on basic to intermediate-level skills through interactive, hands-on sessions.

We’re excited to kick off the series with our first workshop, Creating Templates and Infoboxes, where participants will learn the fundamentals of building and customizing templates on Wikimedia wikis.
