No, they are not likely to have any copyright over the rephrased sentences. The sentences are machine generated and therefore not an intellectual work and therefore not under purview of intellectual property protection. A confirmation can still be sought by writing to
support@spinbot.com . Nevertheless, the tool produced by this company definitely is their intellectual property and we cannot 'copy' the tool.
Just wondering, if I am using Microsoft word to compose and MS Word Autocorrect gives a modification suggestion, does Microsoft own the copyright for the re-engineered sentence accepted by me as per its suggestion? Surely not.
