It's a pity that the mailing list isn't more active, but I do understand that many folks may feel that other things may have a higher priority for them under the current circumstances.

Renewal of membership does not carry many benefits beyond what WM MED offers to non-members, but the ability to vote is one of them, and we have to keep track of our membership in order to keep our operations in line with those expected for a membership-based charitable organisation.

If you are interested in what Wikimedia Medicine has been involved in, there is a repository of our projects at

https://mdwiki.org/wiki/WikiProjectMed:Projects

There are links there to our Annual Reports from 2013 onwards. The 2020 report is still in draft form, and it is true to say that WM MED was less active in 2020 than in previous years, principally because many of our most active members have been involved in directly combatting the pandemic, and I don't envisage a return to our former levels of activity much before the end of 2021.

Please feel free to contribute to the MD wiki, as any and all contributions are exceedingly welcome.

Cheers

Dear all.

I have unsubscribed from the mailing list, for two reasons:

1. The discussion since the original call has degenerated in a way  far below my expectations

2. The original call for renewals mentioned only my "right to vote" in the next round. Nothing about what has been achieved so far in the project and what we may  plan to do together in the future. Dr James, where are you? When Wiki Medicine and our mental health needs you!?

Sincere regards

Vitosmo
