Subject: Join the Free Knowledge Advocacy Group EU
After we had a good talk and managed to find a lot of common ground to work on, I wanted to invited to you properly become part of the Wikimedia working group that focuses on EU policy. We call it the Free Knowledge Advocacy Group EU. The involvement can be just formal or very active, depending on your availability and motivation. Most people are rather passive, but remain on stand-by in case I have some emergency I need help with in, for example, Greece or Ireland.
How to join?
Very simple: Have your chapter or user-group
co-sign the Statement of Intent, which outlines our main policy focus. Most chapter did this by board decisions, user-groups by decision of the people who registered it.
Secondly, tell me who I can
contact in case of need. I have for now added you two.
