This is great. A subtitled version is a great addition. I certainly prefer
this to the YouTube one.

Subject: Re: [Foundation-l] Video on youtube
ive uploaded the video to DotSub. this allows people to add transcriptions
and subtitles/close captioning to the films meaning that it can be
internationalized into any language. The videos at
http://dotsub.com/films/wikimedia2007/index.php and currently has the option
of English, English with subtitles and a French translation. I hope to also
put up the Italian and Dutch translations today but anyone can do it ;-).
This mirror is ad free and doesnt come up with the "Wikipedia Sucks" bits
either. Hopefully this is better than the Youtube version.
Thanks
Mark

I appreciate video sucks up bandwidth like

there
doesn't really seem to be much desire to say
"Wikipedia sucks" among the
viewers. It is the relevance algorithm that is associating the videos in
a
way that isn't good.
Actually the amount of bandwidth that video is using currently is not
visible at all in the statistics, so that's certainly not a problem at
this point.
