Wait, so now it's perfectly fine to have *no consensus
whatsoever* to do something like disable page creation,
but to undo it we need even more overwhelming consensus?
I didn't realize there was such a first-mover advantage
to Wikipedia processes these days.

IIRC it was more of a "Jimbo wants this, therefore it's
going to be done" advantage, combined with concern that
Wikipedia was going to be sued if it turned out too many
more dodgy biographies.
