Dear friends,
From time to time we talked in de.wp about a 'Wikipedia diploma',
useful e.g. for those who want to present or teach Wikipedia in tertiary education and have to prove their skills. The usual reaction is: "Ridiculous, that sound's like the Yodeling diploma!"
Every German speaking person who saw the 1970s or grew up afterwards knows what the Yodeling diploma is: a sketch by Loriot (Vicco von Bülow).
Loriot died today. Let's commemorate him and his Yodeling diploma, luckily someone put it on Youtube with an English translation.:

Kind regards Ziko

And a Holleree Doo Dirdle Dee to you! :-)
<veering slightly off-topic for thread... by veering on topic for list> Incidentally, apparently people do find running wikis to be really hard, especially the social aspect.
Schools still more or less teach people an industrial mindset: "Everyone is an untrustworthy dumb drone" or somesuch.
Granted: Schools do *AIM* to teach people to live in an internet era where many are smart, self-motivated, etc etc...
But people do still feel that everyone *else* is a dumb drone. *sigh*.
Still, one can earn a living just fixing that. :-)
sincerely, Kim Bruning
