Visualizing Sustainability and Climate Change/is a research project aimed at identifying and visualizing knowledge gaps related to sustainability and climate changeon Wikipedia. The project helps visualize these knowledge gaps, supports communities in improving content on this important topic, facilitates collaboration among multilingual communities and partners, and strengthens the capacity of Wikipedia contributors to document and share information on climate change (as well as sustainability and SDGs).
In practice, in collaboration with Wikimedia projects focused on sustainability and climate change,*the initiative will produce a visual tool*that allows users to evaluate and monitor the quality and quantity of articles related to sustainability and climate change on Wikipedia across different languages.

Hello !
There are new elements to look for in the Wikipedia articles visualization toolVIZWP tool https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Visual_Analytics_for_Sustainability_and_Climate_Change
Two of the features selected during phase I of the project in 2025 were already developed and published, beta mode.
You may test the tool with the dataset we originally created for this purpose (most important articles related to climate and climate change) - this is the easiest way OR you can create and import your own dataset using the new topic-builder tool assisted with AI - takes more time, but very rewarding.
If you want to test the tool on your side, I invite you totest it here https://impact-visualizer.wmcloud.org/topics/23#bubbleand then drop comments, bugs, suggestionsthere https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Visual_Analytics_for_Sustainability_and_Climate_Change/Tool Your feedback is very important to us.
To test the creation and import of your own dataset, please check out :new topic-builder tool https://topic-builder.wikiedu.org/
Another option is to join us at one of the dedicated events coming soon for a demo and a chat.
