Dear Wikimedians,

You are cordially invited to the third launch event of the #WikiForHumanRights [1] campaign, to be held on the 14th April 2022 at 14:00 UTC via Zoom.

The Wikimedia Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Rights Office (UNHCR), will host a special live discussion on how Wikipedia and other public knowledge can help people understand the human rights implications of the triple planetary crisis, which includes biodiversity loss, climate change, and pollution.

To be part of the event, register [2]  your participation and save the date by adding to your calendar [3].

For more information about the event or how you can participate in the campaign see our Diff post here [4].  We especially encourage experienced Wikipedia editors to join our writing challenge [5] or community events [6].

All Wikimedians from  Affiliates groups/organizations or individuals are encouraged to invite other members of their community to participate.

It promises to be worth the time!

Best,

Ruby D-Brown
