It is a nice list but incomplete,
http://unicode.org/iso15924/iso15924-codes.html is the list of recognised
writing systems. Yes, the wikipedia list excludes scripts that are likely to
end up with Wikipedias SignWriting is one.

And we can surely ignore writing systems that would never make to our
projects (egypt hierographs and other dead languages), so in total, it is
