Dear Wikimedians,
2023 has been the year of success at the
Deoband Community Wikimedia!
From establishing a
strategic trajectory for our sustainable growth and future development to initiating programs such as
Heritage Lens, and revitalising our
Conversation Hour, we have conducted several activities throughout the year with the support of our volunteers and internal staff. We contributed to the making of the
Wikipedia 101 Education Set for Beginners, together with
Wikimedia Community User Group Turkey, and helped establish
Wiki Club Jamia at the
Jamia Millia Islamia, one of the major central universities in India.
We thank all the Wikimedia Foundation staff involved in supporting our activities: notably

Yop Rwang Pam,
Rachit Sharma,
Chitraparna Sinha (former staff), and
