Hi everyone,

The comment period for changes to the Terms of Use has closed as of April 24, 2023. On behalf of the Legal department and the Foundation, I’d like to thank everyone who offered questions, comments, or even just stopped by to read through the page out of curiosity! We were pleased with the quality and volume of comments. They have been integral to creating a Terms of Use document that will serve the community and the projects going forward. Even when some feedback could not be directly integrated in changes in the terms of use text, we’ve still reviewed your comments and they have helped influence the Legal department’s other policies and work.

We have shared a couple of draft iterations during the 60 day comment period. The next step will be for the legal team to take some time to review everything, draft a final version that will be published in mid-May on the Meta consultation page[1], then we will finalize the approvals and put the update officially on Foundation wiki.

Thank you to everyone who provided questions and comments!

Best,

Jacob
