I'm very happy to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized [1] Wikimédiens du Burkina Faso User Group [2] as a Wikimedia User Group. The group aims to to promote the Wikimedia Foundation and Wikimedia projects in Burkina Faso, and it aims to encourage people to gather, organise, and share knowledge about Burkina Faso’s culture and history, in a way that informs and educates and that keeps the knowledge free..
