The process on Commons for selecting what goes on the front page is very lightweight, and
this was a decision made by one person, in the normal way. That’s going to mean that
sometimes others might disagree.
It would be perfectly possible to set up some sort of more labour-intensive system if
people really want that. It would be easy to do: please, everyone, just come over to
Commons and volunteer your time.
