Yes but those don't have much to do with normal
applications of encyclopedias.
Neither does Wikipedia. An encyclopedia is now "something like
Wikipedia." We are in indeterminate territory. The question we're
trying to answer in this subthread is "what would we use Wikipedia for
if it were there?"
