Thank you for the training. It would be great to know who is the target audience. Is it the event organizers? On-wiki admins? Children active in the movement (we have admins and many active editors)? T&S officers (people responsible for friendly space policy in events for example)? or any other group.

It wasn't obvious to me when reading the page and it's hard for me to decide whether I should get the training or not. For example, if it's aimed at children and I show up, it'd be inappropriate.

Wikimedia Europe is organising an online Child Safety Training for Wikimedians. It will take place on 4 November 2025.

This will be a modified online version of the child safety training session organised during Wikimania 2025 in Nairobi.

The basic idea is to provide necessary knowledge to editors and users on the specific threats to be aware of, assessing situations and how to react. 

It is free for anyone to register.
