pointed out above, the number of Wikimedia participants has grown
considerably, and there are more that 250 "active" Wikimedia projects
right now with signficant content. Getting even one rep from each one
would be quite an undertaking at the moment.
It won't be easy to get solid data until after we have single sign in
but I suspect that, once you exclude the biggest projects, the overlap
is pretty significant. So it might not be as hard getting additional
coverage as you suspect.
