Hi Elliff,

That would be great, I think the students would really appreciate a one-hour lecture and Q&A in Korean and an opportunity to meet a Korean Wikipedian.

The class happens on Mondays, from 1000 to 1300. It takes place at the Hanyang University ERICA campus in Ansan. There's a bus stop right next to the university entrance about 5 minutes away from the classroom. Let me know which Monday, preferably in March, would be best for you; I'll gladly reimburse your travel expenses.

If anyone else would be interesting in giving some form of guest lecture to the students, please get in touch with me, that's a really nice idea!

Yes. I think Korean Wikipedia is different with English one: we have to 'fight' each other for the better Wikipedia.

And If you assign the date, I could make over one-hour lecture(about Korean WP with Wikimedia South Korea) and Q&A time.

Hi Elllif

I am very happy to hear you are interested in this. I think your English is good for communication with me, don't worry. What would be most valuable is if you would be able to come to meet with my undergraduate Korean students once or more, so they could ask you question in Korean and you could give them answers. Also, you could speak to them about why you like to edit Wikipedia, and tell them about Korean Wikipedia differences compared to English or such, perhaps.

Also, there's certainly room for more then one person helping me. The more people are helping me, the less work each of the helpers will be required to do. Also, it will be good for my undergrad students to see there are many active Korean Wikipedians!

Hey guys. I am teaching a course about Wikipedia at Hanyang Univrersity campus in Ansan, ~1h from Seoul. I'd like to work with a Korean-speaking (and English-speaking) Wikipedian, who could help me with tasks such as assessing student's (n=<30) work on Korean Wikipedia, and moderating some Korean-language discussions. Overall, the workload should be pretty low. In exchange, I can reimburse travel / lunch costs, help the said volunteer become a certified Wikipedia Ambassador (first one in Korea besides myself), provide other documents that the assistance took place (all nice fluff pieces for one's CV/resume), and future references. Ping me if anyone is interested in further details
