We are excited to share that Tanveer Hasan A.K. has joined CIS-A2K as the Programme Officer (Institutional Partnerships). We thank all the Wikimedians from various Indian language communities and Wikimedia India Chapter EC for taking part in the hiring process. [1]

Tanveer, has been working in the Higher Education sector for the past 3 years and is interested in analyzing the policy framework and its impacts with particular emphasis on linguistic policies. He is committed to the cause of spreading and cultivating the Free and Open Knowledge movement in Indian Languages. He is also interested in the questions of language, competence and social justice and would like to understand them through his present engagement at CIS-A2K.
