I suppose you will be attending upcoming Mumbai Meetup tomorrow.As suggested by Mr.Anay and Ms.Bishakha please take the opportunity to discuss with Ms.Dnyanada and other wikipedians if they can initiate/support some kind of direct indirect presence/intro about Marathi wikipedia at upcoming Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Thane on coming 25/26/27 December.Or May be we can request Mumbai Wikipedian to arrange next month meet up at Thane coinciding the same days and in the same area.

Marathi Sahitya Sammelan is anual gathering and people from across Maharashtra come to attend the same ,so it would be a good opportunity to reach out to right people at the right time, for growth of Wiki activities.

Unfortunately that is true. Since our meeting I have added some information in a couple of articles but never edited any. My friend and senior journalist Dnyanada Deshpande (she was features editor with IBN Lokmat) would like to attend tomorrow's meeting. I will have to attend a programme on ICT for rural development in Mumbai University.

Dnyanada is an active member of Marathi Granthalaya in Thane and I am sure she will be able to connect you with the organisers of Sahitya Sammelan.

I have written an article about Jimmy Wale's talk in Mumbai and Wikipedia movement in the forthcoming issue of Maharashtra Maza weekly. I hope it will create greater awareness about the importance of this subject.

Anay can hopefully help, but I am not sure he edits on wikipedia.

I can also try and mobilize some Mumbai-based wikipedians who edit in Marathi eg Suyog Vyavahare (who is interested in wiki advocacy) or Utkarshraj Atmaram or contact others through them. They can do the volunteering with the Marathi Granthalaya community for starts.

Let me know next steps and I will try to help for sure.
