bengaluru: This month's 15, wikipedia's 10 year celebrations will take place in karnataka's capital bengaluru.
wikipeida is a free encyclopedia. its the among top 5 best web portals in the world. with 410 million unique visitors. wikipedia has put a keen stress on India and developing its projects here. not only english its available in 270 other languages and so is world famous.
already we have it in 20 indic languages and 20 more are yet to come.
Jimmy wales found wikipedia a decade ago. currently we have 5 lakh+ articles in 50 languages. overall 17 million articles in 270 languages. The 10 years celebrations are being celebrated worldwide. in india also celebrations are taking place at a larger scale. in the city(bengaluru) these celebrations will take place on 20 and the actual anniversary is on 15th.
