Hi, Rahman, MS Praveen and I joined today's call. - Rahman shared the updates on identifying eminent speaker for the morning and afternoon sessions. He is taking help from CBRao. Names will be finalised and put up on the event page by tomorrow afternoon... Rahman/Praveen - Agenda <http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyderabad> has been updated based on discussion. - Limited merchandize will be distributed on first come first served basis for the morning and afternoon sessions. - CD Master is ready for reproduction - Computer lab will be verified for Telugu setup by tomorrow for inscript (essential) and phonetic support. Telugu wiki has built in support for Phonetic... Rahman to coordinate. - MS Praveen has reached out in his contacts circle to spread the message about the event and he expects many to turn up. Note that there are ten ports on Sabsebolo incase you happen to join last and get a busy tone. We will publish the gist of discussions and actions to the mailing list. The free encyclopedia anyone can edit will celebrate its tenth anniversary. Around the world, people are organizing events and online activities to commemorate the day. With email & phone number available in the ealier page ( http://ten.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hyderabad,_India&diff=prev&oldid… ) , it may be a good idea for someone from the hyd wikicommunity or the chapter to reach them and tell the changes. We should be extra careful in those bogus events with an eye on either foundation grant or free merchandise. I am surprised that no Wikimedia volunteer from Hyderabad has taken notice or objected to this. Similarly, as I had mentioned to Steven on his WP10 user talk page, the Bhopal event is being organized by a user who is faking his credentials to gain mileage out of the Wikimedia Movement's good name.
