Dear Wikifriends in India or interested in Indian things,

The Universal Code of Conduct team would appreciate your help in spreading the message below by translating it on Meta, posting it on appropriate notice boards of local wikis and sharing it via social media. We would deely value any effort to make more Wikipedians aware of the upcoming ratification process for the enforcement guidelines for the Universal Code of Conduct. This is the message that we would like for you to pass on:

"As you may be aware, the ratification vote for the Universal Code of Conduct(UCoC) Enforcement Guidelines is starting next week, from March 7-21.  As valued members of the Wikimedia movement, your voice and views matter, and representation of the global community in the upcoming vote is necessary.

We are reaching out to check if you have any questions or need any additional information ahead of the vote. You can also read more about the UCoC, the Enforcement Guidelines and the voting process to be empowered to vote.

Finally, we recently organized a panel discussion on the UCoC  Enforcement Guidelines and the need to vote, particularly for small and medium-sized communities, you can find the recording here."

Thank you all for your help in this,

Christel
