We already have a lot of Wikiprojects under WP:India that are "dormant", hence unless there is a real need and enough support, I would be sceptical of starting new projects and would rather concentrate on reviving "dormant" ones.

Subject: [Wikimedia-in-en] Changing the scope of WikiProject Protected Areas of India
Hello everyone,
I want to start a discussion about WikiProject Protected Areas of India. We do not have too much activity in the group and the number of articles that this WikiProject looks after is also very small (only 442 as per date).
We have another issue, we do not have any Task Force to deal with green issues, biodiversity or environment.
So I propose that WikiProject Protected Areas of India becomes WikiProject Biodiversity, Protected areas & Environment of India with an enlarged scope.
