Subject: [Wikimedia-in-chn] Uploading Photos of public events in wikipedia commons
Friends.
We, Indian Linux Users group - Chennai [
http://ilugc.in ] have our
monthly meet at IIT Madras.
We use facebook for uploading the photos as that is the service which
provides unlimited space for photos.
Check a sample event photos here.

After knowing about wikimedia commons, thinking on uploading the event
images to commons instead of facebook.
Is it acceptable to do so?
Please share your thoughts.
