Here is report on progress Indic language Wikipedias by Shiju Alex. http://shijualex.in/indic-language-wikipedias-statistical-report-2012-2/
For Gujarati Wikipedia, I am presenting statistics in short: 1> Number of active editors per month have risen ~60%(from 17 to 27) 2> Number of articles have gone up by ~2%(from 21866 to 22,330) 3> Page views per month has grown by ~43%( from 8.42 lakhs to 12 lakhs)
Overall, we have steadily progressed in 2011-12. Efforts in community buildup are showing result, still more to be done. As far as number of articles are concerned, depth of articles should be taken in account. I think which has improved over 1 year.
Congratulating every Gujju Wikipedian for this. With the help of collaborating efforts of all of us, i am sure we will progress more vibrantly in building Web Encyclopedia in present year.
